You will sail on a catamaran LAGOON 470 of 2005 very well furnished featuring 4 double cabins with bathrooms. A professional skipper and a sailor preparing the meals form the crew. Almost all meals are served on board, in the exterior wardroom protected with a boat awning. The crew shares the work to make a Creole and international cuisine, well served, and accompany by drinks with rum base drink and other beverages.
Departure from the closest airport near your home (price from Geneva but changeable) to Pointe-à-Pitre, in Guadeloupe. Arrival at the airport and transfer to Sainte-Anne lagoon where the catamaran awaits you to embark right away for your wonderful cruise. The below itinerary describe your complete program for the week:
Saturday: Welcome, installation, light meal and night on board in Ste Anne lagoon.
Sunday: Guadeloupe/Marie-Galante/Dominica
Casting off for Marie-Galante (approximately 2 hours sail). Anchorage at l’Anse Canot. Guided tour of the Island in minibus : Gueule Grand Gouffre, Murat Castle, Capesterre. Visit of a rum distillery. On board barbecue. Casting off for Dominica (approximately 3 hours sail). Anchorage at Portsmouth. Entry formalities. Dinner and night on board
Monday: Dominica
Guided visit of Dominica Island in minibus The East Coast and its volcanic sand beaches, The Carib Indians reserve, the tropical forest and its “Emerald pool”. Typical lunch at the “Papillotte” restaurant. Exotic garden visit. In the afternoon, swimming at the Trafalgar falls and return at Portsmouth via Rosean (the capital) and the West coast. Dinner and night on board
Tuesday: Dominica/Basse-Terre/Pigeon Islet
Morning casting off towards Basse-Terre (approximately 4 hours sail). Lunch on board during navigation and sail under the Soufriere wind (approximately 2 hours sail). Swimming and snorkelling at Pigeon Islet, located in the Cousteau reserve. In the late afternoon, coming down to Malendure beach to look at the sunset with Zouk music background and Ti-Punch. Dinner and night on board
Wednesday: Pigeon Islet/ Les Saintes
Morning at leisure: swimming, snorkelling. Possibility of a ride in glass bottom boat or scuba diving (optional, with supplement to pay locally). Lunch on board. Casting off for the Saintes archipelago (approximately 3 hours sail). Dinner and night on board, at Cabrit Islet.
Thursday: Les Saintes
Morning at leisure, discover the Saintes bay from the tip of the Islet, anchorage at “Pain de Sucre”, swimming, snorkelling, or beach farniente. Lunch on board. Visit of the Terre-de-Haut town and iguanas’ discovery. Shopping possible. Dinner and night on board
Friday: Les Saintes/Guadeloupe/Gosier Islet
Early casting off for Pointe-à-Pitre wet dock. City tour with its market, shopping. Stroll in the Bas-du-Fort marina. Sailing for Gosier Islet, lunch on board, swimming, snorkelling. Lobster barbecue and night on board
Saturday: Gosier Islet/Sainte-Anne
Sailing along the coast. Disembarkation at middle morning in Ste-Anne. Transfer back to the airport for the return flight or extension in Guadeloupe or on another Island.
