Princess Cruises has 17 ships (in 2012) spread over 7 continents. The Princess fleet has divided these ships in several categories: The CARIBBEAN class includes the Caribbean, Crown, Emerald and Ruby Princess. These ships have a capacity of about 3080 passengers; the GEM class with the Diamond and Sapphire Princess of 2670 passengers each; the GRAND class with the Grand, Golden and Star Princess (2600 passengers as well); the CORAL class with the Coral and the Island Princess (1970 passengers); the SUN class with the Sun, Dawn and Sea Princess, (1970 passengers); and finally the EXPLORER class with the Ocean and Pacific Princess, which are smaller (670 passengers). In 2013 and 2014, two new ships are planned to join the fleet, of which the Royal Princess with 3600 passengers.

Your Cabin

All the vessels come with all the luxurious amenities like the first class hotel- from room service 24 hours up to the chocolate on your pillow. More than 50% of the cabins have balconies. According to the ships, you will find interior, exterior and with balcony cabins, as well as mini suite and several types of suites.

Dining

Princess Cruises dining concept is based on the PERSONAL CHOICE DINING, meaning different options for dining are available : A la carte restaurants with 3 services, anytime dining (eat when you want), specialties restaurants and buffer Restaurants. Other possibilities include the 24 hours buffet Restaurant, room service (also 24 hour), Hamburger-Grill & Pizzeria, and free coffee, tea, iced tea at the buffet Restaurant. Moreover, you will find wine and caviar bars, sushi bar as well as an International Cafe.

Activities

Here are some possibilities offered on board the Princess Cruises ships: Night entertainment with the Las Vegas & Late Night Shows, Casino, Disco & Cocktail Parties, and Movies under the Stars (open air movie theatre). Others activities include wellbeing with the Lotus Spa, hairdressing and beauty Salons, modern Gym, Tennis, Volleyball, Ping pong, Jogging track, golf simulator and “The Sanctuary”, a specifically designed area for relaxation.
