Location

Bucuti is nestled on Eagle Beach, far from the maddening crowds and high-rise hotels. Bucuti & Tara Beach Resorts are centrally located near all major attractions, including the scenic Alto Vista chapel and California sand dunes. World-class cafés, restaurants and shopping are accessible in nearby Oranjestad (three miles south), and gift shops are located adjacent to the resort at the Alhambra shopping Bazaar and Casino complex.

Rooms

With only 104 rooms, suites and penthouse rooms, Bucuti offers a more intimate getaway vacation through its award-winning hospitality and world-class facilities and services.

All rooms and suites offer a microwave, mini-bar, refrigerator, in-room safe, hair dryer, iron and board, free wifi, free use of Netbook, iPod docking stations, large balcony or terrace, cable television, Aruba Aloe toiletries, complimentary coffee service and coffee maker, air-conditioning, ceiling fan, direct dial phones and divine king or queen sized beds. Each Tara suite has a beautifully furnished bedroom and separate living room, offering gorgeous ocean views. Bucuti is an adults-only resort accommodating guests 18 years and older.

The 48 Superior Rooms are spacious with either two queen-size beds, or one king-size bed. The combined living and sleeping space opens onto a large balcony, perfect for lounging. Each room has a lovely garden view with some offering a partial ocean view.

Also, 11 Deluxe rooms feature chic, stylish and contemporary furnishings. Airy and spacious with two queen-size beds, the combined bedroom and living room opens onto a large, oversized balcony view overlooking Eagle Beach. The two Junior Suites are located on the second and third floors of the Bucuti Wing. Both face the ocean and have double balconies. Junior Suites have one bedroom with two queen beds and a second room with a kitchen, dining area and sitting area with a couch.

Located in a separate building near the pool, between the Bucuti and Tara Wings, the three bungalow suites consist of one "L" shaped room, with a King bed in the sleeping area, a kitchenette a dining table and a sofa sitting area. Stylish and romantic, all 36 Tara Suites are oceanfront with a separate sleeping and living room. The bedroom has a king bed, with a direct view of the beach and ocean. The living area has its own television, sofa sitting area, and a wet bar with fully stocked mini bar, mini fridge, microwave oven and coffee service and utensils for light snacks. The most luxurious and spacious accommodations feature panoramic views of Eagle Beach. The four Penthouse Suites have four-poster king beds with an oceanfront view, a modern version of the claw foot bathtub for romantic bathing, a living room & dining room with ocean views, plasma screen TV, full service kitchen, and personal desktop computer with broadband internet service.

Hotel Dining

Fine dining is offered on the beach deck, with a spectacular view of the ocean and lovely Caribbean environment. Guests enjoy an extensive American buffet breakfast; an À La Carte lunch menu; and a creative menu which includes fresh seafood and prime steaks for dinner. The romantic outdoor patio is relaxed and gracious, with a lighthearted atmosphere which perfectly captures both the Aruban spirit and the Caribbean region’s unique style and flair. Also, The Sand Bar is Bucuti’s open-air bar on the beach, with Happy Hour daily from 4:00 pm - 6:00 pm, and live steel band music from 9:00 pm – 11:00 pm. In addition, welcoming and comfortable, the Tara Lounge is adjacent to the air-conditioned reception area. In the mornings, guests can take advantage of our full American breakfast. Finally, Carte Blanche is a new restaurant and serves dinner five nights a week in the newly completed space in the garden, adjacent to the Tara Lounge.
