SandCastles Resort

Introduction

The Resort is situated in the heart of Ocho Rios, walking distance to the town’s activities, nightlife and restaurants. It features 174 spacious studios or 1 and 2 –bedroom suites in five terracotta-roofed buildings, each with its own little galleried courtyard and filled with tropical plants- all very castles-like in style. A few steps through the tropical gardens and across a small promenade are the golden sands of Turtle Beach. There you will find swimming galore and an extensive choice of water sports from scuba diving to deep sea fishing at a charge. The atmosphere is laid back and friendly and is suitable for singles, couples, families and group of friends.

Location

SandCastles Resort is located in the heart of Ocho Rios on Turtle Beach, 1.5 hours from the Montego Bay airport.

Rooms

Sandcastles Resorts has 174 resorts apartments in a mix of studio, one and two bedrooms. Turreted pent house add a romantic castles like aura of luxurious living, all spacious, light and airy with tasteful furnishing throughout. All rooms feature air conditioning, two single beds or one double bed, some queen or king beds, satellite TV, balcony or patio with garden, pool and ocean view (based upon availability). The studio features bathroom with shower only, small dining area and kitchenette. The One bedroom features bathroom with Tub and shower, separate living area with sofa bed and a fully equipped kitchen. The two bedrooms are similar to a one bedroom but with an additional bedroom that has a bathroom with a shower only.

Hotel Dining

Come and experience meals of your choice, this varies according to your mood, you can dine at the main restaurant The Castle Restaurant or snack at the pool grill "Mabe' Grill" which serves sandwiches, hamburgers, fries, hot dogs, ice-cream and other snacks. "The Castle Restaurant" serves delectable Jamaican and international cuisine, A la Carte or buffet style. It serves breakfast, lunch and dinner. You can also take a sip at the "Castle Pub"; it serves top brand and local liquors.

Activities

Join the energetic Co-ordinators in the fun at the pool side! Check the daily activity board located by the poolside for daily and nightly activities. We invite adults and children to participate in daily scheduled activities with anything from treasure hunt to water volleyball game.

Services

The reception offers 24 hours assistance. Safety boxes are provided at reception at a charge. Internet Access is available at no extra cost. A tour desk is also available in the lobby, a wide variety of tours are offered both land and water tours. Theses includes: canopy, horseback riding, snorkeling, boat rides, etc. Shopping Centers are located within walking distance.  
Laundry Facilities are also available and the resort provides babysitting services with 24 hour notice. The hotel does honeymoon packages, hosts wedding groups looking for a more affordable place to stay and offers both All Inclusive and Room Only packages.
