Nestled on three acres of tranquil tropical gardens set on a magnificently landscaped hilltop just outside the capital town of Basseterre, Ocean Terrace Inn overlooks the Basseterre Bay, the Southeast Peninsula and the Sister Island of Nevis. Location

The hotel is located approximately ¼ mile from the capital city of Basseterre, 2 miles from the Airport. The property is also at walking distance to duty-free shopping and the Cruise Port.

Rooms

The hotel features 69 elegantly appointed air-conditioned guest rooms, with dramatic views of the Caribbean Sea, Basseterre Bay or lush gentle mountain slopes (standard rooms only). There are five categories of rooms: Standard, and Superior Ocean View Rooms; Superior Suites, Deluxe Rooms, and  Deluxe Suites. Some are perfect for families, others have kitchenettes, and they all have private balcony or patio. In room amenities include remote control cable colour TV, Wi-Fi, direct dial international calling, hairdryer, alarm clock radio, fridge, coffee maker, iron and ironing boards, ceiling Fans (in Superior, Deluxe and Suites only), in room safes (in Deluxe and Suites only), and oversize desk with computer port (in Deluxe and Suite sonly).

Hotel Dining

The resort features three restaurants and two bars. The Waterfalls Restaurant offers a modern interpretation of classic Continental and West Indian Cuisine in an impressive air-conditioned and patio setting overlooking Beautiful Basseterre Bay and the Caribbean Sea. It is open for breakfast, lunch and dinner. The Fisherman’s Wharf is the resort famous Seafood Grill Restaurant where chefs grill in front of you generous portions of lobster, marinated swordfish, etc., accompanied by a fresh Island vegetable buffet. It opens nightly for dinner. Finally, the Poolside Grill serves popular salads, sandwiches, pizzas and daily specials in a Tropical Lagoon/ Waterfall Pool setting. It opens for lunch and daily snacks. The Lagoon Waterfall Swim-up Pool Bar is open for lunch and throughout day as the Fisherman’s Wharf Bar opens for dinner only.

Activities

The Ocean Terrace Inn has three Freshwater swimming pools; one with swim-up bar, one with a Lagoon Waterfall theme and “Beach” style entrance, and an open air Pool Deck Jacuzzi. It proposes PADI scuba facility and features as well an On-site dive shop, Sauna, Fitness Centre and Shopping on the property.

Services

The Ocean Terrace Inn also offers Conference Facility with a 260 square metres. The meeting room, seating 225 persons in theatre style, has Audio-visual equipment. A Business Centre is also available and the Inn offers a complimentary shuttle service to the beaches of Frigate or Friars Bay.
