Anse Chastanet Resort

Introduction

Anse Chastanet offers 49 individually designed rooms, 37 of which are scattered about a lush hillside, and 12 which are nestled within a tropical garden at beach level.

Location

Anse Chastanet Resort is located in Soufriere, St Lucia's unspoiled south western Caribbean coast, in the Eastern Caribbean which is also called the Windward Islands.

Rooms

The 49 total rooms are divided in 37 hillside, standard, superior, deluxe & premium rooms and 12 beachside deluxe rooms. No two rooms at Anse Chastanet are exactly alike. The twelve beach level units are tucked away behind the coconut palms, just steps from the water’s edge and the resort’s renowned SSI Platinum Pro/PADI dive facility. Perched on the hill are Anse Chastanet’s original rooms; cheery white-washed cottages with wrap-around wooden balconies. These octagonal-shaped “gazebos” offer splendid views of the Pitons and the sea, framed by an abundance of flourishing blossoms. All come with shower, WC, ceiling fan, fridge, tea/coffee maker, hairdryer, and in-room safe. Anse Chastanet offers a few selected two bedroom 2 bathroom suites which are available on request. These Suites/rooms combinations are available in Standard/Superior, Deluxe Hillside and Premium Categories. Finally a new addition is the Jade Mountain and features 24 unique open wall suites each with a large private infinity pool. These Infinity Pool Suites at Jade Mountain located high on Morne Chastanet, overlooking the Pitons and Caribbean Sea. Jade Mountain is a resort within a resort at Anse Chastanet.

Hotel Dining

There are 2 Restaurants and 2 Bars. The beachside bar and restaurant are casual. There is also a panoramic hillside terrace where breakfast and afternoon tea are served daily. Dinners are a romantic candlelit affair with a daily changing menu celebrating Tropical World Cuisine, with musical backdrops provided by local entertainers.

Activities

Diving, hiking, mountain bikes, spa, tennis. Water sports include snorkelling, windsurfing, ocean kayaking, and sunfish sailing. Other activities include day and sunset sailing on the resort yacht, daily escorted walks and hikes. The resort offers an exclusive 12 miles of private trails through the tropical jungle located on the grounds of one of St Lucia's first colonial plantations, Anse Mamin. The less actively inclined “simply do nothing,” lie on the beach or enjoy one of the therapeutic body and beauty treatments offered by Anse Chastanet’s spa, Kai Belté, located at beach level.

Excursion and car rental desk, 2 beachside boutiques, scuba St Lucia, water sports centre, art gallery, library, bike St Lucia and now also kayak St Lucia. The Kai Belte Spa in Anse Chastanet also offers spa vacations with yoga and Pilates classes.
