Location

ALAMANDA RESORT is located on Orient Bay on the French side of the island. A place of transcendence and intimacy, where the 42 rooms offer a sumptuous view of the Beach and the Ocean. It is 16 kilometres away from the airport in Juliana, 4 kilometres from Grand Case and 10 kilometres from Philipsburg.

Rooms

The hotel offers brilliant and lovely cotton fabrics and old colonial furniture in all its rooms, a turquoise pool, Caribbean vegetation, and an efficient and friendly staff. Everything has been planned for Alamanda Resort to be your magic place and to offer you impeccable conveniences. Rooms are spacious with large terraces that overlook the pool, beach and ocean. They feature an exotic and romantic mix of colonial furniture while maintaining the modern conveniences and comforts of home. They all include air conditioning, ceiling fan, direct telephone with data port, satellite television, ironing board and iron, hair dryer, individual safe, beach towels, kitchenette equipped with refrigerator,  electric plates, micro-waves, and coffee machine.

Hotel Dining

The CAFÉ ALAMANDA specialties with the West Indies flair are served pool side, or in your room. Kakao Beach, your beach front restaurant also offers guests of Alamanda complimentary lounges chairs and umbrellas right on the beach. Four other restaurants along Orient Beach are also available: BIKINI, KON TIKI, COCO BEACH, and WAIKIKI. With your personalized customer card, that will be given to you by our hostesses, at your arrival, you will be given full credit at these restaurants and be able to pay directly at the hotel upon your departure.

Activities

Constantly caressed by soft ocean breezes, it is the ideal beach for lazing in the sun and for water sports lovers. Example of sports and activities available are: Jet Ski, waterskiing, parasailing, scuba diving, windsurf – hobby cat, deep sea fishing, snorkelling excursions, sailing trips, sunset cruise. Other activities can also be done like Island round trip by car-Taxi boat, horse-back riding, golf (Mullet Bay), massages and shopping in the boutiques.
