At The Somerset, you can choose from three distinct accommodation types; the Ocean view Suites at the Stirling House, the Ocean view Villas in the Estate Villas, featuring large balcony with private outdoor Jacuzzi and private elevator, and the Garden view Suites at the English Cottages which are two-story town home-style suites featuring garden views.

At O’Soleil, guests will enjoy the sophisticated atmosphere and look forward to savouring the island-infused gourmet menu.  Open for dinner, O’Soleil evokes the relaxed European elegance and charm that encompasses The Somerset’s enchanting surroundings. The Somerset also has a casual ocean view pool bar and grille which serves breakfast, lunch and beverages throughout the day. The Pearl Lounge is named for its exquisite mother-of-pearl inlaid bar top. The luxurious and spacious venue is accented by The Somerset’s natural beauty and is ideal for lounging alfresco and enjoying specialty cocktails under the stars. Finally, room service is available daily from 7am-9pm and a personal chef is available for private meals overlooking the ocean.

Activities

All rates include continental breakfast, airport transfers, complimentary wireless internet throughout the property, beach and pool lounge chairs and towels, complimentary non-motorized water sports, use of professional croquet lawn, weekly cocktail reception, twice-daily maid service, concierge, 24-hour security, occasional entertainment, DVD library, complimentary parking, and complimentary fully air-conditioned fitness centre with steam room. Also available are babysitting services, personal chef, rentable laptops and iPods, tours, excursions, signing privileges at The Palms World Class Spa next door, and 18-hole championship golf course nearby (5 minute drive).

Services

The hotel offers children’s activities program from 9-1pm for children ages 3 and up. Guests should check with the concierge for days of the program. A nominal fee will be charged which includes lunch, arts/crafts, sand castle building, croquet lessons and the like. There are no children’s facilities on property, but a park is nearby. Moreover, every Friday, The Somerset has a nanny watch children of all ages, free of charge, so parents may dine at O’Soleil, the fine dining restaurant. The property also offers normal babysitting services for a charge if parents wish to dine elsewhere. Babysitting can be arranged through the concierge desk. Finally, depending on occupancy and weather, The Somerset will show movies on an outdoor inflatable screen or offer other entertainment for Somerset guests.
