Introduction

Mangobay is the ideal location for couples, singles, families and those seeking the convenience of an all-inclusive beach holiday combined with the personal service of a smaller resort. The intimate, friendly atmosphere is complemented by a full range of facilities for all ages.

Location

The mangobay all inclusive resort is set on a beautiful beach on the favoured west coast of Barbados, 45 minutes drive from the airport and 25 minutes from the capital, Bridgetown.

Rooms

The hotel's 76 rooms are spacious and tastefully appointed in a modern, contemporary style. All are air-conditioned and equipped with king bed (two twins available on request), cable TV, radio, hairdryer, safety deposit, ironing & ironing board, tea & coffee making facilities and private balcony or patio. There are five categories:

34 Garden Rooms overlooking the gardens and/or Hotel Front. This block of rooms is adjacent to 1st and 2nd Streets where the restaurants and bars are located. As such, they are susceptible to noise when there is activity in the streets
18 Superior Rooms overlooking the pool and/or gardens
10 Deluxe Rooms with pool and/or garden views
12 Ocean Front Rooms overlooking the Caribbean Sea
2 Penthouse Suites with double whirlpool baths and full sea views.  
Additional features in Deluxe, Oceanfront and Penthouse Suites are 2 poster bed, flat screen TV and small fridges.

Hotel Dining

The Mangobay price includes breakfast, lunch, afternoon tea, dinner, house wines with meals, some branded name and local drinks. All meals are served in the hotel’s beachside restaurant and include table d’hôte menus as well as barbecues and buffets. Mango Bay's Dress code is as follow: 
Daytime - Resort Casual – Cover-ups are required for breakfast and lunch. Footwear is required in the restaurant at all times. 
Evening - Elegantly Casual - Full length pants and shirts with sleeves (either short sleeves or long sleeves) are required for gentlemen for dinner. 
After 6:00pm, no jeans (this applies to both ladies and gents and includes all denim wear), no three-quarter pants, no shorts or cargos, no trainers (sneakers), no flip-flops, no caps nor t-shirts are allowed in the restaurant. **Exception - Friday is BBQ night – Smart shorts (no cargos) and ¾ length pants are allowed.**

Activities

There are 2 freshwater swimming pools, including an enticing free-form pool and included in the price are a variety of water sports, including waterskiing, snorkelling and kayaking from the white sand beach. Also included are one return trip to Bridgetown, a 2-hour catamaran cruise to snorkel with the turtles, a glass bottom boat trip and scuba diving session in the swimming pool. At night, there is as well entertainment including live bands, steel pan, and limbo dancers.

Services

The Element Spa offers a wide range of beauty treatments and massages. The hotel offers a gym, located adjacent to the lobby, this Mini Gym is equipped with a range of exercise equipment designed for cardio and muscle toning. A babysitting and a fax services are both available on request. Internet access is available as well as a gift shop on the premises.
