Introduction

Nestled on the lush, tropical Island of St Lucia, East Winds Inn is an all-inclusive secluded resort with sheltered sandy beach surrounded by coral reef, ideal for snorkelling. The Inn is elegant, but with an informal atmosphere for complete relaxing holiday in a true Caribbean paradise. One of the oldest and most established resorts in Saint Lucia, East Winds Inn is set amongst 4.86 hectares (12 acres) of lush tropical gardens bordered by the golden beachfront of one of the most pristine bays of St Lucia. This traditional resort boasts an exclusive experience to those who value simple luxury.

Location

East Winds Inn is located on the North West coast of St Lucia, one hour and 15 minutes by road from Hewanorra International Airport. The local airport at Castries, George FL Charles Airport (formerly known as Vigie) is a 15 minute drive away.

Rooms

East Winds Inn consists of only 31 rooms – 11 superior rooms, 16 deluxe semi-detached cottages, 3 ocean view rooms and 1 ocean view suite, all set amongst the verdant gardens. All rooms have private bathroom with shower, ceiling fans, hair dryers, fridge (stocked daily with soft drinks and beer), clock radio, multi-speed direct dial telephone, tea and coffee making facilities, in room safe and each of the rooms has its own private and shaded terrace or patio and is tastefully decorated offering the finest in comfort and amenities (ocean front rooms have balcony). All rooms offer the choice of a king size or twin beds. The deluxe rooms, ocean view rooms and the ocean view suite are air-conditioned and some of the deluxe rooms have connecting doors through the patio/terrace.

Hotel Dining

There is one restaurant, the Flamboyant Room. The chefs employ their culinary expertise to create an innovative and delicious range of Caribbean and International dishes as well as daily vegetarian options. All meals are carefully complimented by an enticing choice of hand selected wines, which are stored in our Vin Safe wine cellars to ensure the wine is in top condition. There are also few bars. Among them, the Almond Tree Bar at the edge of the beach is open daily from 5pm to 7pm (weather permitting), the Bamboo Lounge Cocktail Bar is open daily (except Mondays) from 7pm to midnight, and the Bamboo Bar is open from 10am to 11pm daily.

Activities

East Winds Inn offers swimming pool with swim-up bar, Club House Bar for board games, and a mini-shop/boutique. The water sports include paddle boats, kayaks, aqua-view boards, shuffleboard and snorkelling equipment, French boules and table tennis. For evening entertainment, the Flamboyant Room and Bamboo Lounge set the stage for nights full of relaxation and revelry.
