Introduction

Location

The Reef Resort is located on the untouched and Pristine East End of the island, situated approximately 23 miles East of Grand Caymans international airport. IT is the Cayman's only resort featuring all beachfront suites and condos. The Reef is an intimate first class property on 1600 ft of pristine white sand beach. With more beach front than any other resort in the Cayman Islands, you’re assured of access to the water.

Rooms

Comfortably furnished and featuring a contemporary island décor, each of these 152 suites and apartments are ready for families and couples alike. Built in 2000, the Caribbean styled resort offers a full array of amenities, spacious accommodations. All beachfront Ocean view suites include standard studio (sleeps 2), one bedroom (sleeps 4), and condo (sleeps 6). Studio Suites have their own patio or balcony, full bathroom and kitchenette (mini refrigerator, microwave, coffee maker). Deluxe Studio Suites are bigger in size and with a Jacuzzi tub and four post beds; they are very popular with honeymooners and romantics. One bedroom suites feature a bedroom with king size bed, full bath, full kitchen (stove, refrigerator, dishwasher, microwave, blender, coffee maker), dining area and living room. Two pull out “Murphy” beds in the living area provide for a total sleeping capacity of four. With a full kitchen, One Bedroom Suites are popular with families and those enjoying longer stays at The Reef.  The two bedroom suites, feature two bedrooms (one with king size bed, one with queen size bed) each with full bath, a full kitchen (stove, refrigerator, dishwasher, microwave, blender, coffee maker), dining area and living room. Two pull out “Murphy” beds in the living area provide for a total sleeping capacity of six. They are popular with families, two couples travelling together, or anyone looking for our most spacious suites. Kitchen and house ware equipment such as tableware, cutlery, cooking utensils and other such articles are provided in all accommodations. Finally, The Reef is a non-smoking resort.

Hotel Dining

There is an on site restaurant and beach bar and grill, it is oceanfront and serves great drinks, light fare and is a gathering place for tourists in the east end.

Activities

The Reef’s swimming complex features three beautifully landscaped pools, including an infinite edge pool with an adjoining Jacuzzi. A floodlit tennis court lets you serve up a few sets, day or night. And both beach and water volleyball are favourite pastimes here as well. Children's Program, Kayak & Bicycles, Diving/Snorkelling are also available. Beach locker boutique and Thirsty Surfer liquor store and internet café are on site. Also a world class diving and snorkelling on site exclusively operated by Ocean Frontiers. The Reef features now its own Gym, SimplyFit and Le Soleil Spa since June 2008.
