You will get to know its numerous spices, visit its rum and chocolate fabrics. Barbados is more accustomed to tourists and offers many attractions for them. Its beaches, Cane fields and flat scenery are quite different from Grenada and visitors also enjoy the many shops, special handcrafts, and restaurants. All is there to make a perfect vacation.

More Details

Departure from the closest airport near your home (price from Geneva but changeable) to Grenada. Arrival at the International Airport and transfer to the Blue Horizons Garden Resort for 7 nights in meal plan chosen. Your studio has a kitchenette so you can make your own meal if you like. Also, the hotel is only few minutes walking to Grenada longest beach, Grand Anse. Your beach chair is ready for you and you can also used the services (with fees) of the Spice Island Hotel, sister property of your hotel. You will have an information meeting with the local representative for the island description and activities to practice. Then you have a complete week to explore the Island, or just relax. After the week, transfer from the hotel back to the airport for your regional flight to Barbados. Arrival and transfer to the All Seasons Resort – Europa located on the West Coast of the Island. The next 8 days (7 nights) are yours to discover the Island.  This hotel is the same category and type that you have in Grenada. It has one and two bedroom suite with kitchen and offers a free shuttle to the beach which is located about 10 minutes away if you prefer to walk. You also have a preferential access to the Beach Club next to the beach and its pool, in addition to the one situated in your resort. You receive a discount card allowing you to get special prices at many restaurants and shops in the surroundings. Finally you are right in the middle of St James parish, the chic coast of Barbados. At the end of your stay, transfer from the hotel back to the airport for your flight back to your home.

Introduction

LALUNA is a discreet romantic hideaway quietly nestled on ten acres of untouched land. This exclusive resort of 16 luxurious cottages is surrounded by emerald green hills and a pristine white sand beach. Traditional Caribbean materials are combined in a minimalist style with Indonesian elements. Warm natural tones and sensual textures are used in all the public spaces as well as the interiors of

the cottages. Clean architectural elements are evident in all design aspects from the lighting fixtures to the fresh-water pool.

Location

Although totally secluded, the property is a ten-minute drive from both Point Salines International Airport, which is on the south western tip of the island of Grenada, and St.George’s the capital.

Rooms

The 16 one and two bedroom private guest cottages are designed in an open-style plan to take advantage of the panoramic view of the ocean. Generously sized and tastefully appointed bedroom, featuring king-sized beds, which open onto an expansive veranda, framed in natural cotton fabric that serves as an indoor/outdoor living room. A 31 foot square plunge pool is situated on the veranda. All the cottages here at Laluna are identical in size, shape and amenities although they have different colour schemes. They all include plunge pool, day bed, veranda, TV with video, CD player, air conditioning, ceiling fan, wall safe and date port. The difference between them is purely location, either on the beach or at differing heights above the beach on the hillside. They all have ocean views ranging from slightly obscured due to the trees to positively breathtaking.

LALUNA’s restaurant opens directly onto the beach, offering guests a romantic view of the bay. The intimate size, with a seating capacity for only 48 diners, will provide the perfect ambiance for guests to experience the tempting dishes prepared by Italian Chef Daniele Gaetano. The restaurant’s unique wine cellar houses popular Italian wines as well as a more select variety from small undiscovered wineries in Italy. These have been specially chosen to perfectly complement the restaurant’s eclectic menu, which will combine fare from the sea with the Italian specialties. Accommodation only OR MAP plan (breakfast and dinner) is offered. The Sunset Bar is a perfect location to recapture the day. Dodgy Dock Restaurant and Lounge Bar has been rated by the Grenadian Tourist board “as one of the top-three restaurants in Grenada.” Location plays a huge role in the restaurant’s ambiance as it sits atop the bay using cantilevered decking, giving the appearance of a private island. The food is truly tropical, and on Fridays it is Mexican food at Dodgy Dock with the best nachos, quesadillas and fajitas in town.

Our resort concierge will be delighted to organize any other outdoor activities on the island: fishing, kayaking, and sailing hobie-cats (both onsite and complimentary), snorkelling, Yacht charters, or lesson to prepare exotic Caribbean cocktails.
