Freestyle Cruising® is characterized in particular by having no fixed dining times, no formal dress codes, a great variety of lounges, bars, theatres as well as other entertainment and activity options. On board the Norwegian Cruise Line fleet, you find up to 27 different dining options without set dining times and opening hours from 17:30 to midnight (order until 22:30).

Thus, you can choose when, where and with whom to dine. In fact, if you prefer, you can dine in a different restaurant each night of your cruise. Should you, however, prefer to dine at the same table and/or at the same time every evening, respective reservations may be arranged on board. Norwegian Cruise Line’s new ships feature a restaurant seating guide, displayed on flat-screen televisions placed in key areas on the ship. They show each restaurant’s current occupancy status as well as possible waiting times. If a restaurant is fully occupied at a certain time and you would like to wait for an opening, you will get a pager that works all over the ship and will be informed as soon as the table is available. For those who like to dress up a little bit, there is one designated restaurant with a more elegant ambiance available on every ship.

Introduction

You have the possibility to book in conjunction with your cruise a pre or post hotel package. Located in the city of embarkation or disembarkation of the cruise, you can chose from the hotels list offered by the cruise line or between the below offers.

The package includes accommodation with the meal plan desired and transfers from the airport to the hotel and back to the port or vice versa. We offer the following Hotels:

Location

In Fort Lauderdale, Hyatt Pierr 66 is located close to the port and approximately at 15 minutes from the airport. In Miami, the Hilton Hotel Downtown is close to the port and the Claridge, Crest, and South Beach hotels are located in the famous South Beach area.

Rooms

The Hyatt in Fort Lauderdale and Hilton in Miami have respectively 380 and 530 rooms, all offering all the amenities and equipments of a 4 star hotel. The other Miami Hotels are smaller in size, offering between 50 and 80 rooms, all with modern comfort of a 3 and 3 ½ star hotel.

All these hotels offer one or several restaurants and there are also many other culinary possibilities close by.

Activities

Hyatt, Hilton, and Crest Hotels have all a pool and the South Beach, which has no pool is however the closest to the Ocean. At Hyatt and Hilton Hotels, you can also enjoy a Fitness centre among other activities.

The Cunard Line means emotions, passion and nostalgia as well as timeless, classical, traditional, inspired, royal….

In 1839, the company was founded by Samuel Cunard and in 1840 the first 14 days Transatlantic crossings started. In 1936, the Queen Mary with 80.774 tons, is the biggest ship of the world then the Queen Elizabeth followed in 1940 with its 83.673 tons. Even bigger in 1968, the Queen Elizabeth 2, is the last Cunard ship to be constructed in an English shipyard. Then in 2004 comes the Queen Mary 2, followed in 2007 by the Queen Victoria. In 2008, the Queen Elizabeth 2 is sold to Dubai where it became a hotel and in 2010 the Queen Elizabeth is added to the fleet. The Queen Mary 2 has 2‘592 passengers, the Queen Elizabeth, 2‘058 passengers and the Queen Victoria has 1‘980 passengers.
